Otokar 2016 Instrument Cluster Project

A new instrument cluster project in 2015 has been launched together with Otokar. New generation Otokar instrument cluster will be developed and manufactured by Takosan. New Otokar instrument cluster is drawing attention with its modern technology applications and innovation. With its TFT display, new generation Otokar cluster will be the first color TFT application in Takosan product line and in addition to it will be also a “configurable” one.

With this respect, customer’s active involvement to development process will be provided. Moreover, it will allow a single version of cluster produced at Takosan to be configured for different vehicle versions by customer, which will lead to increased production efficiency. Serial production of Otokar 2016 MY instrument cluster will kick off by the beginning of 2016.


Renault and Visteon Visited Takosan Romania Plant

Monozukuri activities held on 26 June 2015 at Takosan Romania plant have been realized with extraordinary high level of participation both from Renault and Visteon. In the meeting, various Renault and Visteon executives including Mr. Xavier Gruson (RNPO Purchasing Manager for Display and Controls), Mr. Herve Drezet (Renault product expert for Display and Controls) and Mr. Jerome Garrigues (General Manager of Viston Electronics Renault Business Unit) were present. During the meeting and plant tour made with participation of high-level executive from Renault, we had the chance to introduce our plant and capabilities.

Sanko Instrument Cluster

Sanko instrument cluster, which has been contracted at the end of 2014, has been developed in an exceptionally short project time of 4 months and has already been started to be used in the serial production.

In the extent of this project, 6 different instrument gauges, used in MST 5.1 and MST 6.1 vehicles are being currently supplied by Takosan as well.
